City Without Limits
Endless tangos and an I marked, Buenos Aires is a city without complexes. Call Paris of South America, by its European style, has an atmosphere that attracts friends and strangers. The safety of a narcissism, sometimes exacerbated, makes the capital of Argentina an attractive stimulus that intermingle architecture of large buildings in luxurious quarters of classes arranged with workers houses casualties of colors. A megalopolis of 15 million inhabitants that seems to no end when it begins to descend with the airplane at the Ezeiza airport and that is the natural gateway to tour South America. With increasingly cheap flights it is a good choice for travel as backpackers since you get to a country with a currency, the Argentine peso (ARS), very weak respect for the euro and the dollar. From international airport, 35 km from the city centre, you can take buses that take 40 minutes and cost between 32 and 35 ARS (such as 6 euros) or take the cheapest option that is a public bus number 86, which costs 1.35 ARS (0.20 euros), but that takes two hours. Once in the Centre, and while it is a large city, it is easy and cheap move since it has a highly developed transportation system.
With six lines of Metro, which is as known in Argentina metro (0.70 ARS travel costs) and more than 150 bus lines or buses (it costs 0.80 ARS trip) can reach any corner of the city. To save costs you can choose a hostel in Buenos Aires which is affordable by avoiding the high season which is from November to February, since they coincide with the summer in the southern hemisphere in Argentina. This city offers the possibility to follow a theme organised free of charge circuit (from August to December) in which you can learn about historic districts or the main samples of art.
